FSOFT send food to nearly 100 employees living in rental places in Can Tho

Immediately after Can Tho applied Directive 16, FCT Director Nguyen Quoc Su requested a list of employees who are staying in rental places and unable to return to their hometown, and arrange to buy dry food to support and encourage those employees.

Accordingly, each FSOFTer in Can Tho will receive a gift including: 10 packs of noodles, 2 packs of sausages, 1 package of 10 chicken eggs, 10 boxes of milk, and 1 box of cakes.

Due to the complicated epidemic situation, the city applied Directive 16, making it difficult to buy food. Goods were scarce as stores all reported out of stock or canceled orders. Not only that, contacting the delivery service is also not easy when shippers must have a Covid test result to pass the checkpoint.

FCT tried very hard to buy these items for FSOFTers. For the past week, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hieu (SSC.CT) has been reeling in the work of buying, receiving, dividing, wrapping and contacting delivery services for the employees in Can Tho. Ms. Hieu said: “Through sharing about the company’s support for employees, the supermarket side has prioritized FCT’s orders, gathered enough quantity and delivered it quickly within the day.”

The gifts are small but full of the warmth and affection of FCT for the employees. We are all joining hands and sharing to overcome the challenging and difficult pandemic.

Cao Thi Ngoc Dieu Thanh (FCT) shared: “When I work from home (WFH), I have to go out very early to queue and buy food. But it is not always possible to buy because of the scarcity of food. Today, receiving a meaningful gift like this, I feel very warm and touched by the sharing from the company. Thank you and the company for this.”

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Han (FCT) said emotionally: “It was raining where I live today. Then I received a call, the shipper said that the company sent gifts to support me during the pandemic. I received the goods and almost cried. Very surprised and really happy. During the pandemic, the company still cares about the employees so much. I am deeply grateful for that.”

Along with the gift of support, the company also recommends that FSOFTers absolutely follow Directive 16 and 5K policy.
