FPT Japan “hypes up” to celebrate 16th birthday
November is considered the most beautiful time of the year in the land of cherry blossoms with many fun activities and festivals. At the same time, the hearts of FPT Japan people were also unusually beautiful because of the joyful atmosphere to welcome a new age with many interesting and meaningful events.
The first event to celebrate FJP’s 16th birthday was the Half Marathon Autumn which started on October 31. The members made every effort to complete the journey complete and safe with the goal of “all reaching the finish line”. The marathon is jointly organized by FJP General Association and FJP Running Club as a step to gain momentum to “boost up” the spirit of members to reach new goals this year.

One of the other sports events to be held on this occasion is the FPT Open – the biggest “Badminton Super Cup” of FPT Japan, which will take place on November 7. This is an opportunity for the players to show off their skills that have been honed over the past few months at clubs that are organized regularly every week. There are still a few days for the event to officially take place but the atmosphere of practice on the field is already very exciting.
FPT Japan people not only work and live in Japan but also love and cherish that land. That love does not stop at words but is also shown through “Green Sunday” – a program held on November 13 in the series of events to celebrate FJP’s birthday. Joining “Green Sunday” you will join other FJPers to clean up trash at designated locations according to each branch. Each participant in the program will be converted into money to support charity activities. This is a regular activity of FJP since 2019 to protect the environment and spread this beautiful image to the Vietnamese and Japanese communities everywhere.
The most notable program in this series of events is the “Birthday Gala”, which will take place on the afternoon of November 12. There, FJP people will sit together, look back on the 16-year journey, and look forward to the future.
In addition, from November 2 to November 8, FJP also launched a photo contest called “FJP goes everywhere”. The contest aims to record moments and images of new lands that FJP people have set foot in. Along with many attractive prizes, all submissions will be posted on FJP’s birthday night on the evening of November 12.
FPT Japan was established on November 13, 2005. From the first few employees, FPT Japan’s human resource scale is now nearly 1,700 employees working at 11 offices/development centers across Japan, making it the largest foreign IT company in this market by the number of personnel.
FJP is considered as a strategic partner in implementing digital transformation to help to effectively manage and contribute to the growth of large Japanese corporations in many fields such as industry, banking, finance, and agriculture. By 2024, FPT Japan aims to become one of the 20 largest technology enterprises in Japan with expected sales of 50 billion Japanese yen and about 2,200 employees.
