X-DAY flight brings 250 rookies new experiences on adventure
The X-DAY event – aka “The First Experience Day”, has officially debuted, putting on a “completely new shirt” compared to the DayOne format that is familiar to FSOFTers. With the Flight concept, X-DAY took off to bring more than 250 FSOFT rookies to discover the best features of the Software house.
This is the first product of the Employee Experience Design (EX Design) team in collaboration with the Training Center (CTC). It is also the first step in the path of improvement and personalization in the workplace integration training at FSOFT.
The first X-DAY flight was led by Captain Nguyen Tuan Minh – Human Resources Director (CHRO), First Officer Bui Binh Minh – Head of Corporate Culture Department (FUN), First Officer Phan Bich Ngoc – Specialist of the Human Resources Policy and Remuneration (HRPR), and a team of enthusiastic flight attendants. It is the sweetness and grace of the Chief Stewardess Le Nhu Anh (GAM.VN) and the lively energy of Deputy Stewardess Nguyen Phi Long (CTC) that made the passenger’s experience a memorable one.
After checking-in on myFPT to receive their very own “X-DAY Boarding Pass”, passengers are led on an emotional journey of the flight through each destination. First, they received a warm welcome from FSOFT Chairwoman – Ms. Chu Thanh Ha, and FSOFT CEO – Mr. Pham Minh Tuan. Afterwards, new recruits had the opportunity to visit FSOFT campuses in 3 regions through the Virtual Company Tour and discover the history, regulations, and organization chart at FSOFT through exciting interactive games. The recruits also met and talked with Captain Nguyen Tuan Minh about the culture of empowerment and how to use young talents at FSOFT. They also listened to First Officer Bui Binh Minh share about the typical culture of FPT, FSOFT.
Before the plane landed, the crew and all passengers had a chance to interact with a very special guest of honor – Mr. Binod Hampapur, former Vice President of Infosys and now a Senior Advisor of FSOFT. Mr. Binod wholeheartedly supported the improvement of integration training from the early days of joining FSOFT and actively “registered” to become the first passenger of the flight. Confiding in FSOFT young people, Mr. Binod said “The atmosphere of the program made me think that I should have been born a little later to experience X-DAY like the young people here. Today’s program has been very personalized for the young audience, especially through games and interactive activities.”
Although the event took place online due to the complicated development of the pandmic, new innovations in the integrated training experience have bridged the gap, connecting FSOFTers from all three regions, as well as dispelling the emotion of confusion on the first day onboard. In the coming time, the EX and CTC teams will continue to work together to bring more complete and personalized training experiences to FSOFTers.
