FSOFT achieves high-class HITRUST certificate
After more than a year of going through many rigorous evaluation rounds, FSOFT has officially won the HITRUST certificate, opening up many new opportunities in the Healthcare industry – one of the four key domains of FSOFT in 2022.
The project is directed by EVP & CDTO Dao Duy Cuong and EVP & CEO of FJP Do Van Khac, with FAM as the main Sponsor through FAM COO Martin Geiger. Like other certifications at the company level, the HITRUST project mobilizes the participation of many HO departments such as IT, ISM, CTC, SSC, LRC, SEPG, HRPR…, with Mr. Chu Canh Chieu as the PM, as well as representatives of FHN.FHS and FHN.BU9 – two units specializing in Healthcare.
FSOFT has gone through the entire evaluation process including the following stages: Gap analysis; Updating process documentation to fix the gap; Receiving phase 1 and phase 2 assessment (Final Audit) to get HITRUST certificate.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu (FHN.HDP) – PM back-up of the project shared: “There were probably thousands of meetings and quick calls during nearly 2 years of preparation for the project. Although FSOFTers have a lot of experience with ISO and CMMI certificates, HITRUST requires too many and too detailed requirements with confusing requirements plus the change of key personnel, making the path of the initial project quite crooked. After ‘shocking’ the squad, with the support of the FSOFT Board of Directors, Sponsor and the commitment of the departments, the whole project started to get on track, running more smoothly and completing the goal on time from April to November 2021”.
HITRUST provides a highly-valued certifiable compliance and risk management framework for various industries, most notably healthcare. This achievement places FPT Software in an elite group of organizations worldwide that have earned HITRUST certification. It demonstrates that FPT Software’s systems have met key regulations and industry-defined requirements and are appropriately managing risks.
