GAM.AIS welcomes 500th employee
On the afternoon of June 1, at the AIS – F-Town 2 compartment, GAM.AIS HCM successfully held a meeting with the whole unit on the occasion of the number of BU personnel reaching 500 people. The event had the presence of AIS managers including Mr. Huynh Tien Dung – BUL, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thanh – Vice BUL; team members in Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi – Can Tho and nearly 200 employees who are onsite at the customer’s workplace.
Officially established in 2018, AIS (Automotive & Industry Services) was formed from the merger of units: BU13, BU11 and BU5, becoming one of the key units of GAM. In the early days, the number of AIS staff was about 200 people. After only 4 years, this number has reached 500 and this can be considered an encouraging milestone for AIS’s leaders and staff.
At the event, AIS leadership honored and expressed gratitude to those who have made great contributions to building and developing resources for the unit during the past 4 years. That is Mr. Tran Van Tien – a key member of AISIN project – who planned and implemented regular and continuous training for AIS with the “Best Trainer” title. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang with the title of “Best Interviewer” thanks his professionalism and dedication when participating in recruitment interviews for AIS. Besides, Mr. Ho Thai Hung was fortunate to become the 500th employee and received a special gift from the Board of Directors. Recently, GAM.AIS has also received good news when the unit achieved excellent first-quarter OKR at the Group level.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Huynh Tien Dung – Director of GAM.AIS expressed his expectation that the unit would develop business by more than 40 per cent per year; grow the AUTOSAR segment annually to 100 per cent; expand the US market and increase the number of Automotive OEF projects.
Following Mr. Dung, GAM.AIS Deputy Director Nguyen Dinh Thanh shared: “After only 4 years, AIS staff has increased to 500 people. This is our effort, hope you guys will try to maintain this performance so that the unit can grow more”.
From 2018 up to now, AIS has worked with many customers, among which prominent ones are Bosch, PSNF, Continential, RVC, LGE, Harman, MQ, AISIN, TSOL, Denso, JVCK, etc. Most of them are all highly appreciated by customers with a CSS score of 100.
With the milestone of welcoming the 500th member, GAM.AIS can fully count on bigger and more impressive milestones in the future when drastically implementing recruitment campaigns, Fresher and Fast track training program and especially the employee experience development program this year. Wishing AIS brothers and sisters to complete OKR, and achieve impressive results, towards the 5th anniversary of AIS establishment in 2023.
