FSG BXG launches English Club “Let’s Speak”

In order to capture the needs of English speaking practice of the unit’s employees, two members of the FSG Board of Directors Nguyen Thi Thai Han and Huynh Khanh Linh established Let’s Speak English Club. Internal learning motivation has helped members confidently communicate in foreign languages, making the process of working with customers more convenient.

“9x teacher” Khanh Linh is the one who directly teaches the class with the support of Han. Ms. Linh has an international certificate of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which is a certificate of teaching English to speakers of other languages. Han has interviewed and experienced many projects working with foreign clients. With the desire to help members confidently speak English at work, the two discussed and brought up the topics closest to the project, creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere for them to relax and study.

Go to the club to interact with FSG members and practice speaking confidently with foreigners.

Besides practicing intonation, pronunciation and communicating with customers in real projects, by coming to Let’s Speak, members have the opportunity to speak more. In addition, practical communication skills are also improved through weekly topics such as:

Interviewing – Take it easy!: help members to introduce themselves in interviews with customers, create sympathy and good impressions with customers, as well as confidently conquer customers to bring projects to your company.

Highlight every single task: have daily meetings with customers, report tasks and specific work with customers in daily communication.

How to finish your task correctly?: help know how to ask problems and questions to be able to complete the task correctly according to the customer’s requirements

Difficulty we have today, are…: raise the problems they are facing as well as know how to share the solutions with customers.

The club is maintained 2 sessions per week with 2 small teams:

  • “ZERO TO HERO”: 5.15 pm every Tuesday for those who are weak in English to communicate confidently.
  • “HERO TO SUPER HERO”: 5.15 pm every Thursday for those who have better English and can communicate but do not have a practice environment, focusing on English at work.

“I find these lessons very interesting, I can learn and play at the same time. More importantly, I can gain a lot of good knowledge. From the club, I have a solution to difficult problems when working with customers. I hope the unit will have many more activities, creating a rewarding experience for members,” shared Nguyen Xuan Truong Giang.
