QAI represents FPT Corporation presenting at Workshop of the Ministry of Planning and Investment

On August 25, the National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment held a  “Connecting Investment Funds with Innovative Enterprises in Binh Dinh Province” seminar. Representative of FPT Corporation, Director of Quy Nhon Center for Research and Application of Artificial Intelligence (QAI – FSOFT), Mr. Vu Hong Chien participated in the discussion on the “Innovation Management” topic.

This is an important event, creating conditions for QAI to learn, access investment funds and improve the ability to call for capital for the unit, timely strengthening the economic cooperation relationship, especially in the field of innovation with other enterprises in the industry.

At the seminar, Mr. Vu Hong Chien shared his experience with business units in Binh Dinh province on innovation to meet the needs of the market and investors, specifically for practical experience in Vietnam. According to him, the management of innovation in the enterprise should accomplish important goals including scrutinizing items to optimize innovation management efforts at all levels of the organization and ensure that large-scale complex innovation goals need to be broken down into manageable goals that different stakeholder groups can focus on. Along with that, the factors to meet from the market and investors also need to focus on the cohesion between employees and customers, the corporate culture and digital strategy, and continuously updating and innovation process through the application of technology and big data analysis, the application of artificial intelligence into practice, etc.

In the afternoon of the same day, Mr. Vo Xuan Hoai – Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Planning and Investment visited FSOFT Quy Nhon headquarters and watched the demo area of key products that the QAI unit is researching and developing. The Deputy Director of NIC highly appreciated the research and application of Artificial Intelligence in all aspects of life and encouraged QAI to constantly innovate, contributing to promoting the economy of Binh Dinh province to become a dynamic and sustainable economic development based on science, technology and innovation.
