FGB attends Equitization Insights and Collaboration Forum
CEO FPT UK Mark Lloyd Scrivens and AM Tran Lien Huong – Tracy recently attended “MobiFone Corporation – Equitization Insights and Collaboration Forum” organized by MobiFone Corporation in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in the UK and Northern Ireland. Attracting the participation of leading Vietnamese and UK enterprises, the forum was an opportunity for FGB to network, exchange information, and seek cooperation opportunities in digital transformation.
The event was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Long, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the UK and Northern Ireland, the delegation from Commission for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises headed by Mr. Pham Van Son, Head of the General Administration Department and the MobiFone delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Hien, Chairman of the Member’s Council.
Towards the representatives from the UK, there was attendance of the UK-ASEAN Business Council, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC Bank, British International Investment (BII), Dragon Capital Investment Fund, Prudential Investment Fund and other notable organizations.

The forum aimed to foster knowledge sharing on MobiFone’s strategic vision, development directions, and equitization plans; to exchange implementation experiences among participants in the forum and consult investor expectations. Through this, the forum provided an avenue for networking and identifying potential business and technology collaborations between MobiFone and potential international partners.
Sharing at the discussion session, CEO FPT UK Mark Lloyd Scrivens expressed his impression on the great efforts of the Embassy of Vietnam in promoting business cooperation between Vietnam and the UK, providing businesses with the opportunity to access senior leaders, leading to new agreements and new investment cooperation opportunities in the potential Vietnamese market. “We are starting to build a network of contacts who all share our ambitions of growing the business relationships between Vietnamese and UK businesses, helping us to fulfill our ambitions of growing the UK business“, Mr. Mark stated.
As one of the few Vietnamese enterprises based in the UK, FGB engaged in discussions centered on its digital transformation – a cornerstone of its strength – with fellow organizations and businesses at the forum. Through this, FGB expressed its hope to further promote the role and value of Vietnamese enterprises to the economy and the potential for cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
Attending “MobiFone Corporation – Equitization Insights and Collaboration Forum” at the Embassy of Vietnam in the UK is of great significance, unlocking potential cooperation opportunities between technology and financial enterprises between Vietnam and the UK.
