iKhiến 2024: Rasing bar for innovation quality, accelerating efficient reward delivery
With dedicated expert panels for each category, streamlined reward processes for innovation across the Corporation, and a rigorous approach to scaling up successful initiatives, iKhiến 2024 promises to be an engaging season of creative competition from all FPT units.
FPT’s innovation program – iKhiến is officially back with unique features compared to previous seasons. Entering its 8th season, iKhien is considered to be increasingly aligned with real-world applications. With the theme “Future Flagship,” iKhiến 2024 aims to seek groundbreaking and novel initiatives across member companies, thereby shaping FPT’s future through unique technological imprints and creative products from FPT employees.
The first distinction is the establishment of two separate evaluation panels, instead of a combined jury as in previous seasons (Panel A – Commercialized products and services, and Panel B – Work processes and tools). According to the Organizing Committee, establishing two panels with members selected based on their expertise will ensure a more accurate assessment of the initiatives.
This year, CEOs of member companies will also directly participate in the iKhien 2024 Organizing Committee, leading innovation activities within their units. This serves as a foundation for the Corporation’s largest platform for fostering a culture of innovation to not only discover more valuable initiatives but also to expedite the reward process for those initiatives that bring tangible benefits to their respective units.

To participate in iKhiến 2024, initiatives must meet a comprehensive set of criteria, including novelty, effectiveness, the “iKhiến” factor, and creativity. The evaluation panel will assess the quality of the product – which can be a complete product/service or a part of a larger product/service – based on: The “iKhiến” factor (reflecting a personal touch); Efficient use of resources (demonstrating outstanding results compared to the investment); Uniqueness; Usefulness, bringing value to the organization; and Longevity.
This year’s initiative scaling process has been meticulously refined to encourage and motivate authors to think big, aiming for broader application when conceptualizing and implementing their ideas. This process is carried out through the collaboration of multiple parties (Technology Board, Executive Board, Digital Transformation Office – Author – Vertical Industry), involving the following steps: Scaling proposal; Approval of the initiative; Implementation; and Effectiveness evaluation. This is the basis for the Organizing Committee’s expectation that a successful initiative can be scaled up within just 3-6 months.
