Experienced coaches in FPT Americas’ GIGA DM Training Program
Last week, the “GIGA DM Coaching” program in the US officially kicked off its first training session, aiming to share essential tips and skills with Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters, and Engagement Owners during project implementation.
At the beginning of the session, mentees introduced their positions and the projects they are working on while getting to know the two “mentors” from FSOFT HO: Ms. Belle Wong Pili – FSOFT Senior Advisor, and Mr. Dhiraj Bhandary Thiruvale – COE at BCC.

The first training session covered four key topics on stakeholder management at FAM, including:
– Seven Key Takeaways: Emphasizing customer priority, change request management, decision-making, risk and dependency management, time management, progress reporting, and data-driven decisions
– Resourcefulness: Focusing on cost efficiency, agility, and innovation to optimize project outcomes
– Assumption & Dependency Management: Identifying and managing assumptions and dependencies to mitigate risks and ensure continuous project delivery
– Scope Management: Defining and controlling project scope using a resource and scope alignment matrix
During the session, the mentors shared their practical experiences working on projects and strengthened engagement with mentees through Q&A and discussions. As a result, mentees gained a comprehensive understanding and deeper insights into project management techniques, especially learning the “tips” to overcome challenges that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
According to the plan, 16 mentees will continue participating in training sessions with mentors in the third quarter and will have a graduation presentation in mid-October 2024.
