LTI opens foreign language exam fee assistance program on August 1st, 2024
FSOFT’s Language Training Institute (LTI) is pleased to offer full sponsorship of foreign language certification exams to its employees. This initiative encompasses a wide array of languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and others, aiming to elevate employees’ language proficiency and expand their career horizons.

This program is open to all full-time FSOFT employees with FSOFT Vietnam’s official labor contracts. LTI will support a maximum of two international language certifications per employee in 2024. Supported languages and corresponding certifications include:
- English:
- TOEIC Listening & Reading: Scores of 785 or higher
- TOEIC Speaking: Scores of 160 or higher
- TOEIC Writing: Scores of 150 or higher
- IELTS: Scores of 5.5 or higher
- TOEFL iBT: Scores of 72 or higher
- TOEFL ITP: Scores of 543 or higher
- Other certifications equivalent to CEFR B2 level or above
- Japanese:
- N3 level or higher
- Other certifications equivalent to CEFR B2 level or above
- Chinese:
- HSK 3 level or higher
- Other certifications equivalent to CEFR B1 level or above
- Korean:
- TOPIK II Level 3 or higher
- Other certifications equivalent to CEFR B1 level or above.
- Other Languages: CEFR A1 level or higher



Application Procedure:
- Registration and Payment:
- Complete the support registration form on the FHU platform (link provided).
- LTI will review applications and send confirmation emails every Monday.
- Certificate Submission and Reimbursement Request:
- Employees are responsible for paying for and scheduling their exams directly with the testing provider.
- After taking the exam, employees must upload their results to the designated tool for verification.Exam fees will be reimbursed through the employee’s salary if they meet the requirements and will be included in their taxable income.
- Employees must upload the following documents to FHU (guidelines in the comment section):
- Exam results (certificate)
- Proof of payment (receipt/invoice clearly showing the employee’s name, exam name, date, and amount paid).
- Reimbursement Timeline:
- Results submitted before the 30th of the month will be reimbursed the following month (n+1).
- Results submitted after the 30th will be reimbursed in two months (n+2).
Additional Notes:
- Employees are eligible for support for a maximum of two foreign language certifications in one year. Only successful (passing) results with higher scores than any previous attempts in the last two years are eligible for reimbursement.
- 100% reimbursement of exam fees for the listed certifications.
- Other fees (bank fees, currency exchange fees, etc.) are not covered
