Two FSOFT initiatives compete in the 4th iKhiến Finals
FSOFT has stepped into the arena of the 4th iKhiến Finals at the Group level, showcasing two innovative solutions: the “Device-Farm Enabler for Automotive Head Unit” from FPT Automotive and “IvyChat” developed by AIC.
The judging panel remarked on the consistently high quality of the five initiatives competing in Group A, reserving special praise for one team whose presentation was polished, demonstrated deep understanding, and expertly addressed the judges’ inquiries.
The finals kicked off with an online presentation from South Korea. Mr. Nguyen Manh The, representing the FSOFT team, introduced the “Device-Farm Enabler for Automotive Head Unit.” This innovation stemmed from a pilot project for an automotive client, aimed at managing, controlling, and automating the testing of car head unit features during the Covid-19 period.

Building on ATOMP, a mobile-centric tool, the initiative adapted its interface and features to create the Device-Farm Enabler. This hardware solution empowers testers and programmers to overcome the challenge of limited device availability when working remotely, boosting efficiency without the need for frequent international travel when collaborating with global clients.
The initiative minimizes the movement of both personnel and equipment, enabling the automation of 56% of manual test cases. The product has been deemed compatible with all Head Unit models from LG Electronics, Hyundai Mobis, and others, generating revenue of 59.5 billion VND. It aspires to capture an additional 30% of the development and testing market internationally, leveraging FPT Automotive’s global sales network to expedite product delivery to customers.
A judge inquired about the initiative’s compatibility with various car models. Mr. The explained that the automotive industry adheres to shared standards, ensuring the product’s seamless integration and high compatibility across different car brands.
The FSOFT representative further noted that while the product isn’t entirely novel, there’s a scarcity of similar solutions specifically tailored for the automotive sector. This positions the initiative at the forefront, garnering positive client feedback and paving the way for robust future development.
Another online contender from FPT Software is IvyChat, presented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Lan. She highlighted the substantial annual investment businesses make in customer service and employee training, with manual processes often leading to overwhelming workloads. This impacts both staff productivity and the customer experience.

To address this, IvyChat was conceived as a virtual assistant powered by cutting-edge language models, enhancing work efficiency and delivering swift, accurate information in real time. It is the first licensed GenAI platform specializing in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance) domain.
The initiative streamlines processes, reduces personnel costs by 33%, minimizes information errors by 90%, and elevates customer experience and service quality. IvyChat has been successfully deployed in the US and Japanese markets, yielding 13.8 billion VND in revenue. Projections indicate it will generate 50.2 billion VND in the latter half of 2024.
While IvyChat received valuable feedback and suggestions for refinement from the judging panel, its distinctive features and advantages over existing market solutions remain to be fully articulated.
