FPT Europe hosts “Vietnam – The Rising Tech Hub” Forum, marking 50 years of bilateral relations between Vietnam and Germany

FPT Europe has successfully hosted the Vietnam – The Rising Tech Hub Innovation Forum in Frankfurt, Germany, marking a significant milestone in the series of events celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany. The event not only reinforced FSOFT as a trusted technology partner but also highlighted FSOFT’s pioneering role in Generative AI, while also promoting international collaboration to address global challenges, drive economic recovery, and promote sustainable development.

The event brought together distinguished guests and senior executives, including FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh; Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Vu Quang Minh; Covestro CIO Walter Grüner; and Frank Wendiggensen, International Director of IT Procurement E.ON.

Under the patronage of the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, the Forum marked the beginning of a series of events celebrating half a century of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Germany, marking an important milestone in the journey of cooperation between businesses of the two nations. Beyond commemorating past achievements that the two countries have achieved over the past 50 years, the forum provided new opportunities for technological innovation and digital economic growth for FSOFT, strengthening strategic partnerships between FSOFT and German enterprises in the future.

In his speech at the forum, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh addressed the global political and economic uncertainties, emphasizing that Germany’s automotive industry is negatively affected by China. He pointed out that diversifying markets and seeking new destinations are becoming essential strategies for international enterprises. He also emphasized that Vietnam is emerging as a new technology center, with many advantages in terms of human resources, government support policies, and a pioneering position in advanced technologies such as AI. “ FPT and Vietnam have become the ‘second home’ of NVIDIA, with significant investments in AI Factories, reaffirming our leadership in the digital era,” he stated.

As part of the forum, the “Co-Creating the Future” panel focuses on discussing development trends and global cooperation strategies, featuring deep insights from industry experts and business leaders. Discussions focused on Vietnam’s rise as a new destination for technology and innovation, the transformative potential of Generative AI and its real-world applications, the critical role of international collaboration in addressing global challenges, and strategies for enhancing economic resilience in a rapidly changing world. These discussions opened new collaboration opportunities, shaping the future of Vietnam-Germany cooperation in the digital era.

Executives from major corporations such as Covestro and E.ON highly praised FSOFT’s role as a strategic technology partner, highlighting superior service quality, fast deployment speed, customer dedication, and a pioneering spirit in developing new technologies.
