What’s next for GHC’s PM Team in 2025?
In 2025, GHC’s PM team stands at the threshold of a breakthrough with PM UP 2025—a program designed to enhance both professional management skills and leadership mindset. This initiative not only helps PMs develop communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills but also provides opportunities to earn international certifications and prepare for leading major battles—especially in fixed-price projects, which demand high accuracy and commitment.
Lessons from 2024 and the Need for Change
The year 2024 concluded with significant achievements and valuable lessons for GHC’s PM team. However, soft skills such as team cohesion, communication, and negotiation with clients remain areas for improvement. Many PMs still face challenges in managing and developing their projects effectively.
To address these gaps, GHC.PMO has developed PM UP 2025, an essential component of Delivery Up—one of GHC’s key strategic programs this year. This program not only enhances PMs’ capabilities through intensive training but also ensures alignment with each Business Unit’s (BU) strategy for 2025. Additionally, it builds a knowledge-sharing foundation for project management, improves communication and presentation skills, and strengthens client engagement.
Three Key Initiatives of PM UP 2025
- Specialized Training Programs
- Training sessions led by trainers, coaches, and mentors from within and outside GHC, featuring practical lessons from subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Courses include:
- Mega PMs: For experienced PMs.
- To-be-PMs: For newcomers.
- ITIL 4.0: For PMs handling maintenance projects.
- Strengthen PM series: A revamped version of FSOFT’s successful program, covering cost management, stakeholder engagement, quality control, and more.
- New soft skills training courses such as interview techniques and presales skills to ensure PMs develop holistically.
- Interactive sessions with role-playing exercises, PM-client simulations, and team discussions to foster creativity and engagement.
- Monthly PM Workshops at the FSU Level
- Workshops will be held both online and in-person, featuring attractive rewards such as gold prizes and contribution points for PMs who participate as speakers.
- A variety of exciting content awaits attendees.
- Pursuit of International Certifications
- The goal is for 90% of GHC PMs to earn PMI certifications (ACP, PMP, PgMP, PfMP) by 2025.
- Strong focus on SAFe, Scrum Master, and industry-specific certifications in Healthcare such as:
- CAHIMS & CPHIMS (Healthcare IT)
- DICOM (Medical imaging standards)
- LOMA (Insurance certification)
- ISO/IEC, HIPAA (Compliance and security standards)
A New Era for GHC PMs
According to Mr. Đỗ Anh Minh, GHC.PMO, 2025 marks a significant shift in developing PMs’ professional capabilities. Beyond standard PM certifications, now is the time for GHC PMs to strengthen their expertise in the Healthcare domain, particularly in compliance knowledge, which is crucial for this industry.
“With the knowledge gained in the upcoming year, we hope GHC PMs will feel more confident in handling even the most demanding clients in the medical sector. We encourage PMs to not only manage projects effectively but also actively participate in unit-wide activities, share knowledge, take the lead in learning initiatives, and set an example for their peers,” said Minh.
The Road to 2026: Mastery & Excellence
With a passion for learning and international certification, GHC aims for:
- 90% of PMs to obtain PMI certifications by 2025
- 100% of PMs to earn PMP certification by 2026
This will solidify GHC’s expertise in managing large-scale and fixed-price projects. PM UP 2025 is not just about technical knowledge—it’s about sharpening soft skills in project management. With resilience and a strategic mindset, GHC’s PM team is set to break through new barriers and drive remarkable achievements in 2025.
