FPT held a corporate-level funeral for Advisor Ogawa Takeo
“A guiding light for FPT Japan” who devoted his heart and deep love to FPT – Ogawa Takeo – passed away at 4:35 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 86. His passing is a tremendous loss, leaving profound sorrow in the hearts of every member of FPT.
To express deep gratitude and bid a final farewell, FPT Corporation is solemnly holding a corporate-level funeral in memory of Mr. Ogawa.
FPT CEO Nguyen Van Khoa sent an email to all FPT employees, sharing the heartbreaking news and expressing the collective grief of the entire FPT family for someone who made such significant contributions to the Group.
According to the wishes of Mr. Ogawa Takeo’s family, the funeral will be held privately, and they kindly ask not to send condolence money or wreaths. Members of FPT can express their respect and remembrance through an online memorial book and memorial ceremonies held warmly in both Vietnam and Japan.
In Japan:
Location: FPT Japan Headquarters, Mita Office, Tokyo
The FPT delegation, led by Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, FPT EVP and FSOFT CEO, along with the leadership of FPT Japan, will hold a memorial ceremony at the Mita Office at 3:00 PM Tokyo time.
In Vietnam:
Locations: FPT Corporation Headquarters, 10 Pham Van Bach, Hanoi and F-Ville 2, Hola Park, Hoa Lac.
The FPT delegation, led by Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman, along with the Group’s leadership and affiliated companies, will conduct the memorial ceremony at FPT Tower at 8:30 AM.
