“Meals of love” – GHC and the journey of spreading kindness

In response to “FPT Community Day 2025” with the theme “Kindness flies far,” the GHC unit joined the “Meals of love” initiative last week, delivering warm meals to patients undergoing treatment at K Hospital in Tan Trieu and Hanoi Nephrology Hospital. More than just a charitable act, this was a meaningful opportunity for GHC members to spread love and ignite a spirit of compassion in the community.

As a unit operating in the Healthcare sector, GHC not only devotes its efforts to advanced digital medical solutions but also sees accompanying the community as an inseparable mission. “Blood – Health – Quality – Love” is more than a slogan; it is a guiding principle that drives all members to nurture and share human values on the path to sustainable development.

Starting at 7 a.m., GHC members cooked and prepared meals at the community kitchen and continued distributing food until 4 p.m. at K Hospital (30 Cau Buou, Thanh Tri, Hanoi) and Hanoi Nephrology Hospital (70 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Ba Dinh, Hanoi). They were joined by kind-hearted aunts and uncles from the Hoa Chum Ngay charity group. Although some members were unfamiliar with the kitchen routines, the volunteers patiently guided and supported them throughout the process.

After a full day in the kitchen, GHC and the charity group served 1,000 hot, nutritious meal sets to patients and their families at K Hospital, along with 200 bread rolls for patients at the Nephrology Hospital. Since kidney patients often have dietary restrictions on protein, meals couldn’t be distributed directly to them. Instead, the team consulted doctors, who recommended softer options like pork-pâté sandwiches as more suitable.

In addition to lending hands in the kitchen, Ms. Ho Thuy Trang – BUL of GHC.GOD – represented the unit in donating cash to the Hoa Chum Ngay kitchen to help purchase more ingredients for patient meals. She shared: “What GHC contributes to the kitchen is just a small part. But if this kindness continues to spread and more hearts join in, I believe the warmth of compassion will reach many more people in need. Every act of giving is a thread connecting us in kindness and sincerity. That’s the core value GHC always pursues in the Healthcare field”.
