FPT LATAM honors Mothers in Costa Rica

On the occasion of Mother’s Day (August 15th), the employees of FPT LATAM in Costa Rica have sent heartfelt messages of love and deep gratitude to mothers – the endless source of inspiration and motivation for each of us to strive in life and work.

Mother’s Day in Costa Rica (Día de la Madre) has a special origin. It is not only associated with the veneration of the Virgin Mary but has also been officially recognized by the government since 1932, highlighting the sacred significance of mothers in culture and family life.

On this day, families typically gather together, organize warm meals, give flowers and gifts to mothers, attend religious ceremonies at church, and share kind wishes on social media. Children at schools prepare musical performances, make cards, or draw pictures to show their appreciation for mothers, while those whose mothers have passed away visit cemeteries to remember and express deep gratitude.
