Just “charge head-on” into challenges and live boldly with FPT Software

In a tech world awash with lines of code and tight deadlines, Vu Bich Ngoc (GHC.GOD)—affectionately known among FSOFTers as Xanh Ngoc—stands out like a vibrant splash of color. A true Leo with a touch of quirky playfulness and a bit of swagger, Ngoc is telling a very different story about how a modern woman defines office life at FPT Software.

Contrary to the common belief that the office is simply eight dull hours ticking by, for Ngoc, GHC and FSOFT are a treasure trove of exciting experiences. She believes that to understand what a Developer is thinking, you can’t just look at their computer screen. That’s why she always takes the initiative to connect—over lunch, afternoon tea, or after-work get-togethers. In those moments, work barriers melt away, and people open up to share their passions and their lives.

Thanks to those friendly “hangout” moments, Ngoc has uncovered plenty of surprises: a quiet guy who can play five musical instruments, or a boss who seems strict but turns out to be incredibly spirited in arts and performance activities. Each small story builds a natural sense of connection, helping Ngoc’s unit become a second family—where everyone gets to be themselves.

The open environment at FPT Software is the catalyst that lets Ngoc freely bring bold ideas to life. A prime example was the GHC 2026 Kick-off: Ngoc didn’t hesitate to propose that more than 20 senior leaders dress up as royal court officials—mandarins, grand chancellors, even “eunuchs”—and conduct a three-hour meeting in character. The meeting atmosphere became lively and inspiring, built around a concept that was striking, budget-friendly, and unmistakably personal. Moments like that blur hierarchical distance, bringing people closer and aligning them as one.

None of this would be possible without the complete trust of leadership—people who consistently support Ngoc and give her the freedom to create, no matter how “crazy” the idea may sound. Empowered by that encouragement, she isn’t afraid to step into new territories, such as joining a Healthcare project filled with complex industry terminology. She simply smiles: “To me, difficulties aren’t walls that stop you—they’re doors you charge straight through to see how dazzling it is on the other side!” It’s the mindset of someone who refuses to accept limits—whenever she doesn’t understand something, Ngoc is ready to ask, learn, and dig in until it truly makes sense.

That courage to take on work “out of scope” helped Ngoc earn the Best Performance GHC 2025 award—voted by the Managers themselves. More than recognition of her capability, it’s a powerful affirmation of her fiery spirit and collective-first dedication—values that are always cherished at FPT Software.

And she doesn’t stop there. Ngoc is also a vivid role model proving that women, even after getting married, can absolutely keep enjoying life and investing in self-growth. She runs a personal TikTok channel that has gone fairly viral, sharing humorous workplace moments; she goes all-in at parties with colleagues; and she comfortably embraces her own hobbies and interests.

“Live boldly—because we’re still so young!” is the simple yet powerful message Ngoc wants to send to other women. No matter who you are, be confident enough to pursue what you love, feel at ease being yourself, and become your most radiant version. Xanh Ngoc’s story shows that at FPT Software, office life can always be an inspiring journey—if you’re brave enough to live it to the fullest.
