Admire the beautiful snowy mountains with FAMer

“Upon arriving at Snoqualmie Summit in Seattle, Washington, my wife and I were surprised by the unexpected amount of snow, given the warmer weather. The heavy snowfall, with its soft, white flakes, was a delightful sight. Each snowflake landed in our hands and vanished, filling us with great excitement,” recounted Mr. Tran Viet Manh (FAM.ST5) about their visit to the alpine ski area in Washington state.

Passionate about travel and eager to discover the vast United States, the couple discovered Snoqualmie and promptly chose it for a weekend getaway. It’s just an hour’s drive from their home to the ski resort, allowing them extra time to explore and enjoy the “white snow dream”. The snow blankets the towering pine trees and wooden houses, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale.

Snoqualmie Summit rests in the heart of Mount Baker – Snoqualmie National Forest, divided into three sections: Summit West, Summit Central, and Summit East. Covering over 1,100 acres of land, the summit boasts vertical elevations ranging from 765 feet to 1,100 feet, with an average annual snowfall of 435 inches.

After witnessing snow in various locations, the couple felt captivated by the stunning and majestic natural beauty of this place. Even though they were not ready to ski on this visit, Mr. Manh researched the ski terrain and nearby attractions, planning to return when the perfect opportunity presented itself.

Let’s take a look at the eye-catching photos of the couple!
