BA WOW aims to save an extra 150 MM for FSOFT in Q2 of 2022

At the end of the first quarter of 2022, the BA WOW program optimized 32/2128 process steps of the BA block, saving 128 MM for FSOFT. The program begins to enter the second quarter with more challenging goals, helping to streamline the BA block process and bring satisfaction to FSOFT internal customers.

FHO iDX has studied the entire document on the workflow of 12 BA units, and it is estimated that there are currently 2,128 job processing steps. From these figures, iDX proposes a target of eliminating 213 process steps for BA block (equivalent to 10 per cent).

From February 2022 to the present, BA WOW has successfully kicked off with 12 BA units to introduce and convey the spirit to employees about the program, as well as the benefits that the program will bring to employees of BA block. In addition, BA WOW also implemented a reward campaign for excellent individuals and units with good process improvement ideas and successful applications. The total prize pool of up to VND 220 million has been disbursed to 2 BA units in the first quarter of 2022, including PRC and SSC.

Although it has only been deployed for 2 months, BA WOW has recorded the elimination of 2 process steps and successful automation of 30 steps, helping BA employees to reduce a large amount of work, typically:

  • SSC unit: Deploying the authorization function of tax finalization on FHU – cutting many stages in the implementation stage, converting from offline to online, towards the future of a “paperless office”; making it easy and fast for all 22,000 FSOFTer to confirm online instead of having to go to each site to sign the paper.
  • PRC Unit: Eliminates the ISM approval step for process groups so they don’t need to participate in – cuts down on the ISM approval step for computer components and magnetic door procurement proposals; contributes to shortening the processing time for FSOFTer by eliminating small but time-consuming steps.

With the active participation of the BA departments, the program is in the process of completing the 45-step optimization and 95-step automation. It is expected that in the second quarter, BA WOW will successfully optimize for 211 process steps.

Entering the second quarter of 2022, BA WOW will kick-off the program to 16 BA units, successfully optimizing 211 process steps and saving more for FSOFT 150 MM. To start the series of activities in the second quarter, the “BA WOW – Tuning for shining” workshop will be held with the leadership of two speakers – FSOFT CEO Pham Minh Tuan and iDX Head Duong Kieu Oanh. The program took place on the afternoon of April 7 with the participation of 70 FSOFT BA employees. Here, FSOFTer will discuss and find ways to apply FPT Digital Kaizen to the operations of BA departments, thereby helping to optimize 20 per cent of the operating process”.
