Cudek Library – A Meeting Point for Book Enthusiasts at FSOFT in Hanoi
To encourage FSOFTers to read and promote a reading culture within the company, Cudek Library at CodeCation Campus Hola Park has been established, boasting over 1,000 books across various genres. It has quickly become a familiar name among bookworms at the company.
Officially launched in mid-January 2024, Cudek Library (located at F-Ville 3, Hola Park) has been steadily growing its membership base month by month. The library’s collection and service quality are improving daily, enhancing the campus experience for employees at Hola Park and beyond, including Hanoi in general.
Founded by Mr. Phan Phuong Dat, with support from FSOFT volunteers, Cudek Library offers FSOFTers access to a wide range of science fiction books. The library features works from renowned authors both domestic and international, such as J.K. Rowling, Cecelia Ahern, Agatha Christie, and Mark Twain. Notably, the library management actively welcomes feedback and suggestions from FSOFTers, continuously expanding its collection to meet the demands of book enthusiasts.
To borrow books from the library, FSOFTers can visit Cudek.vn and register using their personal email. Besides the borrowing service, in the spirit of knowledge dissemination, not only employees at Hola Park but also FSOFT and FPT personnel in the Hanoi area can register to borrow books through the website and the internal transport system.
In addition to lending books, Cudek Library organizes online sharing sessions about notable books. The first sharing session by Cudek’s Book Community members took place successfully on June 18 via Zoom.
Currently, Cudek Library’s bookshelf is located at locker A1, F-Ville 3, Hola Park. In addition to the reserved bookshelf for online borrowers via Cudek.vn, the library also has an open shelf for casual readers. Particularly during summer vacations, the library’s free reading area has become a favorite spot for FSOFT Smalls accompanying their working parents.
