Ending 2 months of hands-on internship for the first batch of international interns

The 2-month journey of exploring, studying and working at FSOFT has opened up many opportunities ahead for interns on their career path. Many want to become an FSOFTer at foreign branches after graduating.

On the afternoon of September 28, during the summary session of Global Internship batch 1, the group of foreign interns Glorious Satria Dhamang Aji, Diko Kintarenji, and Han Byeol shared about their achievements during 2 months of internship at FSOFT. The journey was not only full of practical and specialized lessons from inspirational stories of FSOFT leaders, but it was also an interesting experience to explore Vietnamese culture and people.

Diko Kintarenji, the ‘golden face’ of FSOFT media publications, is especially impressed with Vietnam’s diverse cuisine. It is the uniqueness of the dishes along with the hospitality of the Vietnamese people that have captured his heart. “This is not only an internship but also an adventure to discover Vietnamese culture,” Diko said.

Han Byeol, the only girl in the group, was extremely impressed with the friendliness of Vietnamese people. Previously, Han Byeol had the opportunity to visit Da Nang, walk along the beautiful beaches, and enjoy the specialties like bánh mì, bánh xèo,…, so she soon grew fond of Vietnam. FPT Global Internship 2023 once again brought her to the SEA country, but more special than last time, Han Byeol not only improved her skills and expertise but also made many new Vietnamese and foreigner friends. In addition, she also found a new interest in riding a motorbike. The Korean girl shared: “I never rode a motorbike when I was in Korea, but when I came to Vietnam and tried riding, I was officially hooked.”

Glorious Satria Dhamang Aji, a cheerful intern from Indonesia, confided that 2 months of internship in Vietnam changed him as a person. When he came to Vietnam, he experienced so many new things, from unique Vietnamese dishes to majestic nature, to the point that made Glorious exclaim: “The 2-month journey at FSOFT is worth 10 years of my life.”

Previously, Chee Yee She, a Malaysian student, finished his internship with high praise from his mentor and BUL of FHN.DNA.

Also in the summary session of Global Internship batch 1, FA Deputy Director Nguyen Van Vinh expected the interns to be able to make the most of the knowledge and skills they have learned in Vietnam and FSOFT and put all their effort into any future project. “I am very impressed with the positive changes of the foreign interns from their professional skills to the life experiences they have gained along the way. Hope they will spread these wonderful memories to other international students,” he said.

Ending batch 1, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Hang (FHO.FA) shared that FPT Global Internship is a program that her and the FA unit are extremely enthusiastic about. The biggest obstacle for a foreigner when working in another country is how to adapt to the new cultural environment because each country has its own customs and traditions. To build interesting activities throughout the program that are suitable for foreign students, she and her colleagues have had to go through many challenges and spent days and nights researching.

Therefore, she feels very happy to receive positive feedback about the journey in Vietnam where the interns renew themselves, accumulate a lot of useful knowledge, and have the opportunity to experience culture and love for the country and people of Vietnam.
