F-LEAN: Improve productivity by optimization delivery process

After nearly a month of collecting feedback from FSOFTers, F-LEAN was chosen to become the official name for the process improvement program implemented by SEPG. The program will be deployed across FSOFT during the period from July to December 2022.

Some companies are lucky that they do not have to rigidly focus on day-to-day operations or strive to improve and still perform well. However, most companies are not so lucky, and that luck, even if existing, doesn’t always last. Most service companies always have a huge need for improvement or else, they will stagnate. FSOFT is no exception as the company is always going after continuous improvement.

The “F-Compact – F-LEAN” program was born to improve productivity by shortening the delivery process. The program is open to all members involved in the delivery process such as PM, SA, BA, Dev, Tester, Comtor, and QA. You present your idea and SEPG will deploy it. Active participants in F-LEAN will receive many valuable rewards from the program.

F-LEAN is promoted by FSOFT CDO Vu Tien Dat with the expectation that it will help the delivery block to save 500 MM. The program is divided into 3 phases:

• July – Innovative idea: Collect ideas for improvement from all FSOFTers; evaluate the current situation in some particular projects of the units; then select the most feasible ideas for implementation.
• Aug – Sept – Pilot: Implement ideas for improvement in selected projects; evaluate the effectiveness and select ideas for go mass.
• Oct – Dec – Go mass: Implement the ideas for all on-going projects; periodically evaluate the effectiveness to continue to improve.

F-LEAN will have a kick-off to introduce the program to units this July. The program needs the cooperation of all delivery units and FSOFTers who are directly involved in development and delivery because you yourself will know best where to improve so that your work can be done more effectively.
