FDN and FPT India signe cooperation agreement

By the end of 2022, FPT India will provide FDN with 60 employees and that number will increase to 300 by the end of 2024. That is one of the three main goals of the cooperation agreement between FPT India and FDN signed on June 29. at FPT Complex.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Minh Tuan – FSOFT CEO, Mr. Vu Tien Dat – FSOFT CDO, Mr. Raghu – FPT India Director, Mr. Ravi – Delivery Manager of FPT India, Mr. Le Hong Linh – Director of FSOFT Central, Mr. Le Xuan Loc – Director of FDN, and many managers from FDN, DPS, FSG, and GAM.

The cooperation between FDN and FPT India focuses on three main goals:

  • Develope FPT India into one of FDN’s Delivery Centers. Accordingly, FPT India will contribute 60 employees to this delivery center by the end of 2022. The number of employees will continue to grow to 300 by the end of 2024.
  • Increase sales success rate by providing a general HR solution. FDN and FPT India will become “One Team Global” to jointly implement the project.
  • Redesign documents for services offering to showcase common capabilities.

Here, Mr. Tuan shared the difficulties and advantages in the early days of establishing FSOFT’s branch in India. He also mentioned opportunities and challenges of the Indian labor market. Mr. Tuan emphasized that the cooperation between FDN and FPT India will be successful if each party puts their common interests first. Agreeing with the goal of cooperation, Mr. Dat pointed out the need to clarify details of activities between the two sides to promote efficiency.

With regard to the above goals, the two sides set out the guideline for action.

  • The two sides will “collaborate on sales”, update and present common capacity profiles. At the same time, FPT India and FDN will participate in weekly meetings to share opportunities for cooperation.
  • The two sides will have exchange of experience and working culture between Vietnam and India to build a team of key members from the two units. FPT India and FDN will rotate personnel on a quarterly basis. It is expected that every quarter there will be 10 members from FPT India coming to Vietnam to work and 5 members from FDN coming to FPT India to participate in professional development activities.Human resource growth is the next goal between FPT India and FDN. Specifically, FPT India will provide resources to participate in FDN’s projects. The members can stay in India and work remotely or go to Da Nang (Vietnam) to be with the project team. It is expected that FPT India will provide 10 employees in the third quarter and 20 more in the fourth quarter.

Besides mustering all capabilities and strengths to ensure business and delivery activities, connecting with OBs is also a way to help FDN realize its 50% revenue growth target and maintain its position as a the leading unit that will contribute more than than half of the 10,001-employee goal of FSOFT Da Nang by 2024.
