FPT Care insurance for employees’ relatives to receive application until July 23, 2021

The renewal insurance program in 2021-2022 has the following new features and advantages: Premium reduced by 8% compared to the previous year; Insurance benefits increase the limit of outpatient treatment and dental treatment. In particular, benefits extend to treatments related to post-vaccination reactions including the COVID-19 vaccine.

FPT Care for relatives in 2021 still has 5 basic packages with corresponding benefits, provided by PTI Postal Insurance Corporation. FSOFTers can choose without limitation according to the current staff level. Coverage is valid from July 15, 2021, to the end of July 14, 2022.

The insured in this program are spouses, children, natural parents, and legal spouse/parents of FSOFTers who have signed an official contract (not including internship, probationary, training students), at the age from full 15 days old to 65 years old. Employees whose parents are over 65 years old will only be able to register for renewal of the insurance premium. Rather the fee will be equal to 140% of the premium per year and can be renewed up to 72 years old. In case the policyholder turns 72 years old but the policy term is still valid, the insurance benefits will be maintained until the contract or amendment expires.

The plan does not accept coverage for the first time for people with mental illness, leprosy, cancer, and people who are 80% or more disabled or permanently disabled. If this condition is violated, the insurance policy of that relative will be void from the effective date, and there will be no refund of any fees. Those who have joined in previous years but are newly diagnosed with cancer will join the plan under an extended insurance plan in addition to the above 5 packages.

Employees wishing to register for the program need to carefully read the insurance rules, insurance policies, and exclusions, which have been sent to their personal email by the Service Sharing Center (SSC), and prepare records according to the instructions of the SSC. After July 23, SSC will not accept additional applications or subscription cancellations.

FPT Care is a welfare insurance program for FPT employees and relatives of the employees in the company, in order to share risks in case of an accident, illness, or disease, and at the same time create conditions for employees and relatives to access high-quality medical services. This is a step forward in FPT’s human care strategy, which took effect from January 2006.

FPT Care program for relatives to use the same service with FPT Care of employees should have a support team including: (1) Company personnel; (2) Insmart is the unit that collects documents and settles entrustment compensation; (3) Aon is a document consultant that supports the sponsorship process.
