“Globizen Talk #1: America within hand” – First talk show for Onsiter

The US is always one of the top destinations for IT engineers because the US is a technology powerhouse that has all the optimal conditions for individuals to develop their careers and lives. However, planning and preparing all aspects to integrate into life and the working environment in this multicultural country is not a small challenge. Follow the Livestream “Globizen Talk #1: America within hand” on May 31 to discover useful information from the Onsite FSOFTer sharing in the US.

Participating in the event were two veteran and experienced American onsiters who are Mr. Trinh Hoang Ha – Account & Delivery Manager and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – Software Engineer & Account Manager.

Mr. Ha and his wife work together at FAM and his family has had 6 years in the US. According to him, there are now hundreds of FPT colleagues from Vietnam in the US and most of them have adapted very quickly and are extremely satisfied with this change. Mr. Ha reminded FSOFTer to prepare now for a living and working in the US, quickly sharpening and improving professional skills, English; as well as find out information about life in the US through many channels. When the opportunity comes, they are ready to “pack their bags and go”.

The second speaker is Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long – the first FSOFTer to buy a house in Los Angeles (LA) which is known as one of the most expensive cities in the world. After 5 years of living and working in the US, Mr. Long and his small family have traveled to many lands because according to him, the way to quickly integrate into American life is to travel a lot and set foot in many new lands. Through experiences in America, I want you to work towards a work-life balance. If you are cherishing the plan on the US onsite and have questions about how to choose a comfortable area to “settle down”, and how to choose a school for your children, then do not hesitate to ask questions to the speakers.
