Guided by FSOFT’s 2025 motto, “AI or not AI”, GPE has embarked on a transformative journey to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) as a core driver of its growth and competitiveness. What began as initial skepticism has evolved into a firm belief within GPE’s teams that AI is more than just a support tool – it is a powerful assistant that significantly enhances productivity and efficiency. With groundbreaking advancements in Embedded, IoT, and Robotics, GPE aims to establish AI as a key competitive advantage, targeting a 40% revenue increase and a 15% productivity boost by the end of this year.

The rise of AI initially met with uncertainty and concern among GPE employees. However, through extensive experimentation and practical applications, GPE teams have gradually shifted their perspectives, recognizing AI’s potential to optimize daily tasks and serve as a catalyst for productivity gains. Notably, AI tools such as CodeVista, Copilot, and proprietary internal solutions have driven project productivity to exceed initial targets by 70%, based on projects with a total BMM of 250MM.

One of GPE’s most notable achievements over the past year is the successful development of an AI-powered tool capable of converting source code from C++ to C# entirely offline. This innovative solution has replaced older methods while meeting stringent quality and security standards, enabling GPE to secure a licensing agreement with Client T—renowned for its rigorous requirements regarding both quality and data protection.

Simultaneously, GPE’s 3 strategic pillars – Embedded, IoT, and Robotics – have made significant strides in integrating AI.

GPE has embedded AI models into both embedded chips and IoT chips, enabling data processing directly on devices (AI on Edge Device). This innovation accelerates response times and reduces reliance on cloud computing. The impressive demos showcased at TechDay 2024 highlighted the viability and efficiency of this approach.

By combining its IoT platform with data analytics and AI, GPE is collaborating with clients to establish AI Labs, unlocking opportunities to apply AI in equipment monitoring, automation, and operational optimization.

In partnership with NVIDIA – one of the global leaders in graphics processing and AI technologies – GPE is developing an AI-integrated robotics platform with advanced 3D simulation capabilities. This collaboration promises to elevate GPE’s robotics solutions to new heights by simulating real-world scenarios with greater precision and accuracy.

While 2024 served as a period of learning and experimentation with AI, 2025 marks the year when GPE plans to fully harness AI’s potential. A key lesson learned is that AI delivers maximum benefits when supporting experienced senior developers. Consequently, GPE’s primary objective for 2025 is to boost the productivity of its senior developers by an additional 15%. This goal will be achieved through tools like CodeVista and CodeTagging – the latter being a new product slated for deployment this year, designed to automate complex programming tasks.

AI development within GPE is progressing across multiple layers. While there remains a gap in basic AI research compared to global technology corporations and research institutes, GPE is highly optimistic about its capabilities in AI application and product development. Head of GPE Trinh Van Trong expressed confidence that AI integration would enable the creation of high-quality products while optimizing time and resources. “Mastering AI is essential for us to keep pace with global trends”, he emphasized.

A key advantage of FSOFT lies in its ability to develop proprietary AI products tailored to address specific challenges – exemplified by solutions like CodeVista and TestVista. Building on this strength and aligning with FSOFT Chairwoman’s “AI Everywhere” vision, GPE is committed to leveraging AI as the cornerstone of its growth strategy. By the end of 2025, the company aims to achieve a 40% increase in revenue and a 15% boost in productivity, positioning AI as the driving force behind breakthrough performance. Beyond enhancing internal productivity, GPE also intends to embed AI into every product and service, using it as a strategic weapon to enhance its competitiveness in the global market.

Two key AI applications are prioritized for investment:

– AI on Edge Device: By harnessing the increasing processing power of embedded devices, GPE is developing AI models that can be directly embedded into devices, enabling faster data processing with lower latency.

– IoT Platform Integrated with AI: By combining data analytics with AI, GPE’s IoT platform helps clients optimize operations, quickly detect issues, and make more informed decisions.

To achieve World-Class product standards and compete with industry giants that continuously introduce game-changing innovations, GPE recognizes the importance of enhancing its internal capabilities while proactively collaborating with leading technology corporations worldwide.

Currently, GPE is working with NVIDIA to secure their first contract in the Digital Twin sector – a digital simulation technology that is transforming numerous industries. Through this collaboration, GPE not only gains access to cutting-edge AI technologies but also learns advanced product development methodologies aligned with international standards.
