Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lien Minh: From iKhien 2021 to ‘The Face of 2021’
Ms. Minh or “Ms. X-Jobs”, who takes care of the exchange of freelance jobs at FSOFT, has become the “The Face of 2021” – an award awarded by the Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology. This female FSOFTer has been with FSOFT for more than 2 decades and experienced many positions, through which she has found joy in making products.
In 2021, with the encouragement of the brothers and sisters in her department, Ms. Minh brought X-Jobs Matching based on akaJob to participate in iKhien and received the highest score from the judges. Group finals. From her unremitting efforts, she received a nomination from the FSOFT Board of Directors for the award by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Recently, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology held a conference to summarize 2021 and commend “The Face of the Year”. At the conference, in order to honor the efforts of collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities, the Executive Board of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented a certificate of merit to the Trade Union of Joint Stock Company. FPT, Trade Union of Ministry of Science and Technology, and 2 individuals. The Trade Union of the Ministry of Science and Technology awarded “The Face of 2021” title to 17 individuals, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Lien Minh – a representative of FPT/FSOFT.
The organizers of iKhien had a quick interview with Ms. Minh to listen to her sharing about the award and the iKhien playground.
Hello Ms. Minh! How did you feel when you heard that you had been nominated and finally received this award?
Ms. Minh: I feel happy and moved because I was nominated by FSOFT for this award because the company and FPT have a lot of good people. I think there is a bit of luck when the FSOFT team recently participated in the iKhien Final and made a good impression at this playground.
In your opinion, how has the iKhien playground motivated you in your daily work?
Ms. Minh: The iKhien playground helps me to become creative in my work. I now often think of different ways to do things. I want to choose the easiest way for the working level – which is the group that directly handles the most convenient work in operation. At the same time, I try to approach in the direction of solving old pain points without generating new pain points. This is not an easy task and I am fortunate to have “masters” like Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, and Mr. Dao Duy Cuong who show me the right way to do it. It is necessary to correctly determine the pain point before offering a solution.
X-Jobs correctly identified the paint points, so it has recorded the participation of many FSOFTers, from delivery staff, PMs to heads/deputies of units.
What message do you have for fellow FSOFTers on the occasion of the official kick-off of iKhien 2022 – the time when FSOFT’s initiatives need to focus on the “productivity” factor?
Ms. Minh: FSOFT is always developing, giving employees the opportunity to be creative and change the way they do things. So, I think every FSOFTer just needs to think about what he is doing every day, try something different or maybe just try the way others have done and succeeded such as reusing SKU program IPs.
FSOFT has a whole store of resources, which are valuable assets of the company. If we get other FSOFTers to contribute new and effective ways of doing things, let’s try it and continue creating from the available ones. Let’s introduce and spread that spirit to colleagues and we can together improve productivity and quality of work.
