Strategic partnership with delegation of U.S. enterprises
During their recent visit to Ho Chi Minh City for the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo 2024, representatives from businesses in Maryland, Virginia, and Massachusetts (USA) visited and worked with FSOFT HCM. The delegation explored the information technology and software solutions sector of FSOFT and Vietnam, culminating in the signing of an MOU to foster collaboration in these areas with FSOFT.
The visiting delegation included senior managers from American companies and Mr. Do Ngoc Hung, Commercial Counselor, Head of Vietnam Trade Office in the USA. On the FSOFT side, the delegation was welcomed by Mr. Dao Duy Cuong, CDTO of FSOFT, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Phuong, Director of FSOFT HCM, and Ms. Vo Thi Bich Hanh, Director of FHM.
During the meeting, both sides discussed FSOFT’s business and production activities. Additionally, representatives from the American businesses signed an MOU with FSOFT, focusing on promoting commercial connections and joint ventures with businesses, industries, and educational institutions in the U.S. and Vietnam. The MOU outlines each party’s roles and responsibilities in providing legal advice, operations support, and appropriate technological and technical infrastructure conditions.
Mr. Mia Romeo, Southeast Asia Regional Director of the Maryland Department of Commerce, noted that this visit is a crucial step in promoting cooperation between the parties and laying the foundation for future relations between Maryland and Vietnam.
In a letter, the Director of the Economic Development Committee of Prince George’s County (Virginia, USA) stated, “Vietnam’s dynamic economy and technological advancements have created many investment opportunities for countries around the world, including us. Conversely, we—through our continuous innovation and advanced development—will help Vietnamese businesses enhance their global competitiveness”.
The delegation gained a detailed and profound understanding of FSOFT’s technology sector and Vietnam’s broader tech landscape, which in turn highlighted the company’s capabilities and potential, paving the way for extensive future cooperation.
