The FHN English Club at Hola Park kicks off

Following the success of the FHN English club at FPT Duy Tan, FHN has expanded the English club to Hola Park. With 30 members, the club is expected to serve English enthusiasts and promote foreign language learning activities at FHN units.

It is difficult to interact with foreign customers if we are not proficient and confident in English communication. It is not effective to practice speaking English alone, we need a place where we can practice speaking with people with shared interests or aims. In addition, we need a supporter who corrects our mistakes and recommends words. And the FHN English Club is a great choice.

Aiming to become the leading FSU in terms of training activities in FSOFT, from early 2023, FHN has promoted foreign language learning activities among employees. With the goal of enhancing the ability to communicate and work with foreign customers, the club focuses on two main skills: Speaking and Writing. The FHN English club at Hola Park is led by a Cuban teacher – a friendly expat of FHN.BA: Mr. Andy Perez Silva.

“Working in the IT industry, I think English proficiency is an important factor for us to conquer achievements. At the English club, members are provided with the best conditions to speak up, our mistakes are corrected by teacher Andy in a timely manner”, shared Tran Thi Ngoc (FHN.FLT).

Taking place every Monday and Thursday afternoon, the club is an ideal place for FSOFTers who want to improve foreign language skills. Not overloaded with grammar and hectic knowledge, the lesson is highly applicable at work.

Every week, with an interesting topic in regard to work and life, club members practice speaking English a lot through interesting games, presentations, teamwork, etc. Tu Van Phong (FHN.REC) said “My speaking and writing skills have improved significantly after joining the club, so my communication with customers becomes smoother and I am not under pressure to speak English as before”.
