CEO Katalon shares secret to make Products and sign Business Partnership with FSOFT
The Leader talk with the “Product Story:The factors determining success” topic has just been successfully organized by IVS unit over the weekend, attracting many Product Owners at FSOFT. The sharing session aims to help Product Owners shape and find effective new directions, thereby solving the problems that their products are facing.
Sharing at the event was the presence of guest Lam Quoc Vu – Chairman of KMS Technology, cum Founder and CEO of Katalon – a provider of automated software testing solutions for web, API, mobile phones and computers; Mr. Tran Dang Hoa – FSOFT CEO, FSOFT Product Manager together with the Product Owners of FSOFT products.
Throughout the sharing session, Mr. Vu brought many stories of when Katalon/KMS started their business with software products, along with answering questions and giving advice to those who are making products at FSOFT on development issues, and operational products and products for an efficient product launch process.
Mr. Vu hopes that after the sharing drawn in the process of building his product, it will help people shorten the time to success when making products in Vietnam. “FSOFT has a very skilled team in Outsourcing and surely when making products, your team will also be very strong. And I believe you will achieve success. We hope that Katalon can contribute a part to the development of FSOFT,” Mr. Vu said at the event.
COO Tran Dang Hoa shared: “I think it’s not difficult to make a product to get the first sales, but making a good and world-class product that can compete at a high level requires a lot of ‘secrets’. Katalon, KMS Technology or many other product companies in Vietnam have solved many problems to bring success to their products. Hopefully, the product makers at FSOFT will gain more experience to help make the product more perfect after the useful advice from Mr. Vu”.
During the sharing session, representatives of FSOFT and KMS Technology also signed a bilateral cooperation agreement to promote and develop the relationship of the two parties in the future. Accordingly, FSOFT will become a Reseller as well as be able to access Katalon’s services at a lower cost. In addition, FSOFT will be supported, shared business and Presale activities in the field of Automation Test as well as access new features that are about to be released in the solution.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh An – Director of IVS unit assessed that this is a new weapon to help IVS and FSOFTer increase productivity as well as increase competition with other Automation Test Services companies. It is expected that in the near future IVS will sign with the Top 4 Automation Test products owing the largest market share to expand the business.
In recent years, the trend of switching from IT services to product design is becoming evident in the IT market in Vietnam. Information about software applications designed by 100% Vietnamese people being successfully sold or raised millions of dollars is no longer a “rare item”. Even at FSOFT, a strong movement of “Start-up in the heart of FSOFT” has been formed with the goal of having more products born, contributing to the development of businesses in particular and the country in general.
