Qualifying round of Quy Nhon AI Hackathon 2022 is open for entry

The timeline of the Leaderboard for candidates to submit their entries for Quy Nhon AI Hackathon 2022 í from August 21 to 30. Before that, from August 10-12, all teams should answer a mock test. The results of the mock test will not be scored. The teams will not lose their submission turn and the score will not affect the final results.

Teams should choose 1 of 2 topics namely Smart menu and Review Analytics to join the competition. After receiving the sample data set from the organizers, the contestants will solve the problem and submit their answers on the official website of the contest at https://hackathon.quynhon.ai/ (A submission section will be added on the website’s menu in the near future).

The top 3 teams in each group will go to the finals. In the final round, the Top 6 will go to Quy Nhon for the final show. The organizers will publish a set of Private Tests for the Trip planner problem so that the teams can continue to evaluate the performance of the algorithm. After 5 rounds, the team with the best strategy and algorithm will win.

The teams can choose one of the following two topics to for the qualifying round:

1. Smart Menu problem: Menu recognition – dishes for foreign tourists

The teams will receive the Public Test file provided by the organizers, then proceed to identify the menu – dishes in Vietnamese and provide new data in English to help foreign tourists enjoy the local special dishes. For this challenge, speed and accuracy of the identification process are the most important criteria for evaluation.

2. Review Analytics problem: Analysis of public opinion about tourism in Quy Nhon – Binh Dinh

The teams should optimize the model based on the data provided by the organizers (it’s up to the contestants if they want to add data). From the reviews of Binh Dinh on social networks in 5 aspects (Amusement services, Accommodation services, Catering services, Transportation services, Shopping services, etc.), contestants should rate the tourists’ satisfaction on a 5-point scale and provide analysis and reports.
