GHC and AIC join forces to optimize AI in Healthcare
Recently, Global Healthcare Center (GHC) and AI Center (AIC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote the development of Healthcare through the application of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare software. The MOU is valid for 3 years, effective from January 1, 2024.
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Chu Canh Chiu, Director of GHC, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phong, CAIO of FPT, and members of the board of directors of the two units.
The cooperation agreement, made in the context of automating medical data exploitation and increased application of AI, aims to create a revolution in healthcare worldwide. AI-supported healthcare technologies are proving to be a positive change, including new treatment methods and better and earlier diagnosis and prevention, thereby helping to reduce costs and improve the quality of healthcare services.

In the face of this trend, GHC, recognizing growth potentials, has placed a focus on building and developing AI capabilities as one of the strategic goals for the 2024-2026 period. At the same time, AIC is a research unit with strong technological capabilities in a variety of fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Advanced Analytics (AA) and Cognitive Computing (CC). This partnership marks an important starting point for the two sides to work together to develop and bring to market breakthrough solutions that optimize productivity, quality and cost for the Healthcare sector.
According to the MoU, the two units plan to establish a close strategic partnership and set OKRs for 2024 in the following areas:
- Business and external development: GHC provides market research on potential customers in the global healthcare industry, especially for projects/solutions integrating Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, AIC is a bridge for GHC to cooperate in building partnerships with AI organizations around the world. GHC and AIC will jointly seek new business opportunities through pre-sales activities, product promotion and exhibitions. The target for TCV growth is 2 million USD in 2024.
- Development of AI-based healthcare products/solutions: The two sides cooperate in research and development of healthcare products integrating AI models. Committed to developing 2 products and having a won deal in 2024.
- Professional development: AIC affirms its full support in training basic AI capabilities for GHC’s engineering team. GHC commits to sending 20+ employees to participate in the training program with AIC in 2024, and at the same time organizing knowledge sharing and transfer activities between the two sides.
- Cooperation in implementing healthcare projects and other projects: In which, AIC is responsible for resources and expertise in AI/ML/AA/CC; GHC is responsible for project management, medical expertise and resources for application development.
With clear orientations and goals, together with the One Team spirit, GHC and AIC believe that they will effectively utilize the strengths of both sides, aiming to provide the most valuable solutions for customers and elevate FPT’s position in the field of Healthcare IT.
