FSOFTers at FAM.ST11 share “Moments with pets”

This minigame is a captivating addition to the employee engagement activities arranged by FAM ST11. It is a special activity in celebration of “National Love Your Pet Day” on February 20th annually.

In ST11’s contest, participants shared photos of their pets or amusing pet-related images, accompanied by a short description of the pet’s traits and personality. Additionally, the organizers conducted a survey to gain insights into the participants’ pet preferences and the importance that these have for everyone. The contest awarded four winners with $50 gift cards, namely Juan Manuel Dominguez, Sergio Lopez, Oscar Palacios, and Luis Alejandro Rivero.

Throughout history, pets have played a significant role in human lives, with pet ownership becoming increasingly prevalent. In the 1600s, European royalty started keeping pet dogs, which eventually became cherished members of the Royal family. By the 1960s, pet birds became popular companions for people of all social classes in Spain. The exact origins of “National Love Your Pet Day” remain unknown, but it gained mass recognition and popularity in the early 2000s.
