Contribute a tree, receive a succulent
In response to FPT Community Day 2024 and in order to join hands towards the goal of sustainable development to reduce environmental emissions, FSOFT officially launches the program “Contribute a tree, receive a succulent” for all FSOFTers in Vietnam.
Since August 2023, FSOFT has cooperated with Gaia Nature Conservation Center to plant 1,500 trees in Xuan Lien forest, helping to reduce nearly 96 tons of CO2 emitted into the environment each year. However, this will be even more meaningful and practical if it has the participation of each employee at FSOFT.
Each tree planted will help absorb nearly 3 tons of CO2 over 50 years. And the more trees are planted, FSOFT will receive the amount of CO2 neutralized by the trees supported by FSOFT people. By contributing to the cost of planting trees for only VND80,000 per tree, you are joining hands to green the barren land at Xuan Lien Nature Reserve and contributing to FSOFT’s response to climate change, protecting the green lungs of Vietnam.
Each FSOFTer who participates in donating trees will be given 1 lovely succulent plant. And the first 100 succulents will be awarded directly at the FPT Community Day kick-off event this afternoon, at 4:00 pm on March 13 at F-Town 3.
For those who participate in donating trees but cannot attend the event at F-Town 3, please take a screenshot of the successful transfer to Gaia and send the photo to the comment section of this post, the Organizing Committee will send the succulent gift to you as soon as possible. The time is from now until May 30, 2024.
FSOFTer can contribute 1 or more trees (VND80.000 per tree), unlimited quantity by transferring to the following information:
– Account name: Gaia Nature Conservation Center
– Account number: 1116667878 at ACB Bank
– Transfer content: FSOFT – R4 – Your name – Phone number – Message on the forest (no more than 20 characters).
After 2-3 days from contributing to planting trees, your name and message will appear on the website of Xuan Lien forest on the website of the forests. These trees will be planted and cared for by Gaia, you will receive news about the forest for 4 consecutive years.
