FSOFT Stars 2023: “Attending the seminar in Singapore was a unique experience”

“Excited,” “amazing,” “overwhelming,” “beyond expectations”… these are just a few of the many emotions expressed by the FSOFT Stars after attending the “SUPER AI: Where AI Meets the World” seminar in Singapore last week. The trip was part of the Growth Premier experience, offering exclusive opportunities for learning and personal development to the FSOFT Stars 2023 members.

Returning from the Super AI seminar, Bùi Thị Minh Châu (FCR) was still brimming with excitement and amazement at the rapid advancements in AI technology. She asserted, “The seminar was not just a professional event but also a journey of discovery, experience, and connection, preparing us to ride the big wave of artificial intelligence.”

During the two-day seminar, Ms. Châu had the opportunity to converse with renowned leaders and entrepreneurs in the AI industry from companies like Grab, Anadalm, and Visident. The most memorable encounter for her was with Ed Choudhry, CEO of Barricade AI. She was particularly struck by his insightful remark: “AI is like a big wave; if you don’t ride it, you’ll be swept away.”

In the 48 hours spent in Singapore, Ms. Châu participated in numerous discussions, with the most impressive being the topic “AI for Good: A Conversation with Edward Snowden,” a figure famously known as “The Whistleblower” and “Espionage” in the AI world. She also shared her enthusiastic experience interacting with “Ms. Desi,” an intelligent robot introduced by Singularity AI. The sophistication and intelligence of the robot astonished her, showcasing how far AI technology has advanced.

For Trương Đạt (FPT Software Innovation – FI), this was his first time attending an international seminar. He noted, “Everything was very well-organized, from check-in and control to the arrangement of areas and the schedule divided clearly between the io.net main stage and the motiff stage, allowing attendees to tailor their experience according to their preferences and goals. The breakfast, lunch buffet, and evening cocktail parties with multinational cuisines were fantastic, leaving nothing to criticize.”

Reflecting on the most impressive aspects of the two-day seminar, Mr. Đạt highlighted the deep AI presentations and discussions by leading experts, which opened his eyes to the limitless potential of artificial intelligence. He was particularly captivated by the demonstrations of incredible AI applications in various fields such as finance, robotics, space, and healthcare. “After the seminar, I feel like a world and society akin to Star Wars is not far off,” he shared.

In addition to meeting and participating in discussions with the world’s top AI experts, Mr. Đạt seized the opportunity to connect with numerous CEOs, CIOs, and founders from various fields. He was also very proud to introduce FPT’s AI products to international friends, including CodeVista, Intelligent Inspection, AI Engage, FPT Camera, and Fisheye.

Concluding their journey in Singapore, not only Ms. Châu and Mr. Đạt but all FSOFT Stars highly appreciated the enthusiastic, professional, and dedicated support from the organizers throughout the trip. From registration and flight procedures to hotel arrangements, everything was handled professionally. Everyone expressed a strong desire for more such seminar trips in the future to provide learning, experience, and networking opportunities for FSOFT members.
