Immersing in lavender fields in Washington State, USA

Summer in the US is not just about vibrant beach festivals; it’s also the season of lavender fields stretching across farms in hues of purple. Join Ms. Nguyen Pham Thanh Thao (FAM.AF) as she visited B&B Family Farm—one of the largest lavender destinations in Washington State.

B&B Family Farm is a family-run operation maintained through three generations, spanning 12 acres with over 14,000 lavender plants. The farm offers free tours throughout the summer, where visitors can learn about growing, processing, cleaning, and distilling lavender oil.

Rows of fragrant purple lavender

At the farm, Ms. Thao enjoyed capturing stunning photos amidst the dreamy purple blooms, relaxing and connecting with nature. “Each row of lavender seems to stretch endlessly, with delicate, fragrant flowers gently swaying in the breeze. The sweet and soothing aroma of lavender fills the air, creating an immediately calming and peaceful environment,” Ms. Thao shared.

In addition, she had the pleasure of cutting her own bunches of lavender, sampling lavender ice cream, and enjoying lemonade in the orchard. This experience is one of the highlights of summer for onsiters who are photography enthusiasts and nature lovers living and working in the US.

Let’s admire the purple color of lavender through Ms. Thao’s pictures!
