Winning 2 golden tickets, FHN advances directly to the PM Contest Finals

The only 2 golden tickets for FSOFT Northern region were awarded to the teams from FHN.BU9 and FHN.BU91. This remarkable victory advances the FHN members to the Finals, where they will compete against representatives from Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and FPT Japan.

After a month of intense preparation, 7 teams from FHN along with 23 teams from FSU regions and OB officially enter the decisive Face-off round to identify the promising candidates who will advance to the Finals.

“The Face-off round featured many practical stories from projects at FSU and real-life experiences of PMs. Among them, the team ‘Möbius’ from FHN.BU9 impressed the judges and scored the highest with their presentation on the PTG project. Team leader Nguyễn Tuấn Sơn believes that this success came from the team’s compelling choice of topic. ‘The success of the Pension Pro Plus project was the material that helped our team shine during the Face-off round. The judges’ challenging yet thought-provoking questions also helped the team delve deeper into the topic,’ Sơn said.”

Also securing a golden ticket to the finals, the team ‘FireStorm’ from FHN.BU91 made an impression with their presentation on a Fixed-price project. This is a novel project for FHN, as it marks their first collaboration with a client from South Africa. With a clever and accurate strategy, the team successfully won over the seasoned judges.

“We closely followed and focused on building our presentation according to the three criteria of the competition: Mega-PM, Productivity Up, and Value-driven Up. The practical value delivered to end-users was the most compelling factor in convincing the judges,” said a representative from the FireStorm team.

To support and encourage the home team, FHN Director Lê Thành Nhân had the opportunity to observe the performances of teams from various FSUs. He praised the professionalism of each team and provided feedback on how to write a complete paper, deliver an engaging presentation, and shared lessons from many years of experience at FSOFT. “Consider ways to boost productivity for your project, such as incorporating AI tools like CodeVista, TestVista, ChatGPT, etc., into your daily work and your team’s workflow,” Nhân emphasized.
