FPT Slovakia engages in technical exchange with QA Kosice community
Last week, FPT Slovakia (FSK) hosted a professional exchange session with the QA Kosice community—a network of engineers and software testing experts based in the city of Kosice and surrounding areas—aimed at updating knowledge and discussing current trends in the field of Quality Assurance in Slovakia.
The event featured a series of technical talks and networking activities. Guest speaker Peter Kolcun from QA Kosice presented on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, sharing practical approaches and hands-on experiences in testing data warehouse systems.

In addition, Maros Dzuris, Test Consultant at FSK, discussed effective automated test design methods, focusing on reducing reliance on manual steps and optimizing the testing process.

The agenda also included a local culinary experience, highlighted by four varieties of sausages selected from a regional supplier. Among them, the standout was the Bahnmicek sausage—a special edition crafted exclusively for the April QA event—this unique item blended Vietnamese and Slovak culinary influences, specially developed to mark the occasion.
Participants joined a team-based pub quiz focused on QA knowledge to wrap up the event. Through this session, FPT Slovakia strengthened ties between its internal team and the QA Kosice community, fostering professional exchange and expanding industry networking opportunities.
