Nearly 3,600 Users and 160 million characters translated after one month of SkyTrans going mass
In less than a month since its mass rollout at FSOFT, SkyTrans has proven its practical value with nearly 3,600 users and over 160 million characters translated, saving FSOFT an estimated 400 MM. These impressive figures underscore the tool’s high applicability especially in translation, a critical task in international projects.
Starting with 1,000 users during the pilot phase, SkyTrans rapidly reached 3,576 users in under 30 days. This milestone is a testament to the tool’s strong appeal and tangible effectiveness in the daily workflow of FSOFTers.
In terms of data volume, SkyTrans has processed over 160 million characters and continues to enhance its specialized dictionary. The tool now features a growing repository of over 10,000 terms across popular domains such as AI, Automotive, Finance, Aviation, and Healthcare helping ensure more accurate and contextually appropriate translations for technical content.
According to reports, SkyTrans has saved FSOFT nearly 400 MM by optimizing translation time and reducing dependence on external resources.

To support better resource management and allocation, FJP – the pioneering unit in deploying SkyTrans – will begin assigning monthly credits to FSUs working with the Japanese market. These will be distributed through designated Credit Managers, allowing each unit to manage and use credits based on actual demand. For other projects in need of credits, please contact SkyTrans Product Owner, Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Khoa (DXG).
With this momentum, SkyTrans is evolving beyond a simple translation tool into a true AI assistant, boosting productivity and contributing to the standardization of documentation across FSOFT.
