FPT France’s 17-year journey of sustainable development in the hexagonal country

Last week, FPT France (FFR) celebrated its 17th anniversary, marking a long journey of sustainable development in the French market, the first European country that FPT expanded to. The event was attended by FSOFT Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha and the entire FFR team.

FSOFT Chairwoman emotionally recalled the early days of arriving in Paris in 2011, when FFR had only a small office that also served as a residence, with just 4-5 employees. From those pioneering steps, FFR has continuously grown, attracting more Vietnamese talent and solidifying its position in Europe.

Over the past 17 years, FFR has consistently made its mark with valuable contracts and strategic relationships with major clients such as Airbus, La Poste, Air Liquide, Canal+, STMicro… Especially during the anniversary week, FFR successfully signed a significant contract worth at least USD 24.5 million with Sagemcom until 2030, officially making FFR the largest IT partner for Sagemcom globally. This meaningful “birthday gift” is the clearest testament to FPT’s ongoing growth in the French market.

FFR has also demonstrated its strong commitment to the French market through strategic initiatives such as participation in the Vietnam-France Leaders Forum and the establishment of the FPT Francophone Association, contributing to enhancing the connection between the Vietnamese and French tech communities.

On this occasion, Ms. Ha expressed her deep gratitude to the entire FFR team for their tireless efforts over the past 17 years. Ms. Ha affirmed that every time she returns to FFR, she always feels the strong development and fresh energy from the team, and is extremely proud of the achievements that the members have accomplished.
