Cambridge University explores global collaboration opportunities with FSOFT

Last week, FPT Software Academy welcomed representatives from the University of Cambridge to F-Ville 2, Hola Park. The visit set the stage for potential cooperation in training, research, and IT talent development.

Representing Cambridge, Ms. Vibhuti Patel – Head of Southeast Asia & Australasia Development, Development and Alumni Relations – met with FSOFT leaders including CHRO Vu Tien Dat and FSA Director Prajith Nair.

During the discussion, both sides focused on three key areas of collaboration. First, the Global Internship program is expected to create opportunities for students and young IT talents to gain international internship experience. In addition, both parties looked at promoting Research Partnerships that leverage strengths in technology and innovation. Other potential avenues of engagement within Cambridge’s global network were also discussed, with the aim of building a long-term and sustainable relationship.

Ms. Vibhuti Patel praised FSOFT’s commitment to people development alongside its global expansion strategy, noting this as a strong foundation for collaboration. She shared: “We are excited about the possibilities this partnership could open for Cambridge students, FPT professionals, and the wider tech community in Vietnam.” Thanks to FPT’s recent efforts to expand in the UK and reinforce its presence in the global market, Cambridge recognized the company’s growing influence in technology. This was also a key reason the University chose FPT as a destination for this visit.

The meeting took place in an open and engaging atmosphere, with practical exchanges from both sides. It is seen as a positive starting point for FSOFT to continue working more closely with Cambridge’s faculties and departments in the near future.

As part of the trip, Ms. Vibhuti toured the AI1 office and explored the “Green & Modern” campus of Hola Park, which reflects FSOFT’s signature work-life blend spirit. The creative environment and vibrant energy of the campus left a strong impression on the international guest.

This visit highlights FSOFT’s strategic direction in strengthening connections with leading global educational and research institutions, aiming to build an international ecosystem of training and innovation.
