AI1 – A new milestone for FSOFT’s Artificial Intelligence Center

FSOFT’s Artificial Intelligence Center has officially rebranded as the AI & Innovation Center (abbreviated as “AI1” – AI First), marking a bold transformation aimed at leading FSOFT, its customers, and partners into the “AI First” era, where AI becomes the core technology driving operational optimization and growth.

Building the Future through Continuous Innovation

The rebranding of the Artificial Intelligence Center (AIC) to the AI & Innovation Center (AI1 – AI First) signifies a comprehensive shift towards supporting FSOFT and its customers and partners in enhancing their production, business, and operational efficiency in the AI era. The number “1” in the name not only symbolizes the pioneering spirit but also reaffirms the commitment to innovation and leadership in bringing Vietnam’s AI to the global technology map.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phong – CAIO of FSOFT and Director of AI1 shared: “The number 1 in AI1 represents three meanings. First, it stands for leadership and the ambition to pioneer. Second, it represents Innovation, a passion for creativity and continuous renewal. Finally, with the name AI First, the center’s mission is to support businesses in transforming AI into a core technology focus, unlocking all potential, and boosting productivity for the new era of development.”

In addition to its technological mission, AI1 will continue to maintain and promote a strong organizational culture based on three core values:

From AIC to AI1: The Aspiration to Conquer Technological Heights

Founded in 2019, AI1 (formerly AIC) aimed to become a leading AI laboratory, training talent through the AI Residency program. This program attracts exceptional individuals to work alongside experts from the Mila Institute, University of Texas at Dallas, and the National University of Singapore. After two years, participants can either become AI Engineers at AI1 or pursue a Ph.D. at prestigious universities.

In 2022, AI1 expanded into Solutions Technology, applying AI research to practical use. Some notable products include:

• IvyChat – An intelligent AI agent platform. IvyChat utilizes the world’s most powerful AI models combined with a self-hosted model on FPT Cloud, helping businesses automate operational processes. This is the core technology behind AI1’s first 1 Oku Yen deal.
• CodeVista – An AI-assisted programming tool that helps developers write, test, and optimize code faster, improving software development efficiency. CodeVista won the Gold Award at iKhiến 2024 by FPT Corporation.
• TestVista – An AI tool that automatically generates test cases from software requirement documents, saving time and enhancing testing effectiveness. With multilingual features and the ability to integrate with existing platforms, TestVista streamlines and speeds up the testing process, improving software product quality.

The name AIC has been closely associated with the initial steps that helped the center rank among the Top 50 AI Labs globally and secure millions of USD in revenue from developing AI software solutions for clients.

After six years, with its new name, AI1 is committed to continuing to innovate and develop advanced AI solutions, with the goal of ranking among the Top 30 AI Labs globally. AI1 will also continue to contribute to revenue and help businesses and corporations become AI First organizations, operating smarter and more efficiently, creating sustainable value for the community.
