Aiming to increase presence in Korea, FSOFT opens a second office in Seoul

FSOFT’s new office is located at the JangHeung building in Gangseo-gu district, Seoul, Korea. The area has leading multi-industry enterprises in Korea and is considered the new research and development center of Seoul. This is FSOFT’s 64th office globally.

The opening ceremony had the attendance of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Nguyen Vu Tung, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh, CEO of FPT Korea Ha Minh Tuan, Senior Vice Presidents of LG CNS, LG Electronics and FSOFT’s key partners in Korea.

“With the motto of setting offices at the customer’s sites, FPT keeps opening new offices worldwide. FPT’s second office in Korea not only expands our global network but also strengthens our ability to closely connect with customers in terms of geography and time”, said FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh.

CEO of FPT Korea Ha Minh Tuan emphasized: “We are committed to the success of our customers. Increasing our presence and workforce is expected to better support customers on their digital transformation journey”. In addition, Mr. Tuan shared the demand for developing technology solutions like automotive technology in accordance with AUTOSAR standards, Applied Programming Systems (SAP), Low-code Technology, Management Services and Digital Transformation which are emerging in Korea.

Strengthening its presence in Korea – a major economy ranked in the global Top 10, FPT Korea aims to keep its growth rate above 50%, opening more offices in key technology regions like Gangnam, Pangyo. The company is expected to become a Global Service Center, effectively supporting customers across Asia by providing comprehensive digital transformation technology, consulting, implementation, operation, management and maintenance services.

Setting up the first office in Korea in 2016, FSOFT currently has more than 1.000 employees based in Vietnam and Korea, providing world-class solutions and services to more than 20 leading customers in Korea, including key partners in the Top 20 in Korea like LG Group, Shinhan Bank, Shinsegae I&C. In 2022, despite the devaluation of the Won, FPT Korea still achieved sales growth of more than 80% and an increase of 85% in profit. FPT Korea was ranked in the Top 200 leading technology companies in Korea in accordance with Gartner statistics in 2020-2021, as the leading Vietnamese company in terms of sales and staff scale in this competitive market.

The new office in Korea is FSOFT’s 64th office globally, demonstrating the company’s rapid growth. In 2022, FSOFT opened new offices worldwide in New York (USA), Copenhagen (Denmark), Tokyo (Japan), Manila (Philippines) and Bangkok (Thailand).
