AMRP of GPE attracts Robot enthusiasts at FPT Techday 2024

At the Techday 2024 event held from November 13-14, GPE.IMS launched a comprehensive autonomous robot ecosystem called IMS Autonomous Mobile Robot Platform (IMS AMRP). This ecosystem is designed to meet the increasing demand for automation in production and operations, affirming GPE’s pioneering position in the field of robotics technology.

According to a representative from GPE.IMS, the products introduced at Techday 2024 focus on solving the problem of optimizing autonomous robot systems, effectively supporting production processes, transportation, and performing automation tasks beyond the limits of traditional industries. AMRP not only realizes this goal but also brings breakthroughs in customization and operation capabilities.

The AMRP ecosystem includes three prominent software platforms:

  • Mobile Robot Configurator: This is a pioneering platform in the market, allowing direct and flexible customization of autonomous robot configurations. Customers can combine robot models from various manufacturers, check real-time 3D models, and customize detailed parameters such as robot size directly on the browser. This solution helps businesses choose the most suitable robot model for their actual needs.
  • Mobile Robot Simulation: This platform provides an accurate 3D simulation environment for designs from the Configurator, supporting the testing and optimization of multiple robots’ operations in different environments before actual deployment. A standout feature is the ability to simultaneously simulate multiple robots, helping analyze the performance of multi-robot systems in complex scenarios.
  • Mobile Robot Management: This management platform optimizes the coordination and monitoring of autonomous robot teams, allowing the management of multiple robots from different brands simultaneously. Users can monitor real-time operational status, from location, performance, to work schedules. The automatic task division and coordination feature helps businesses save resources and enhance operational efficiency.

One of the highlights of AMR is its integration with the UR3e robotic arm, providing flexible, safe, and efficient manipulation capabilities. This solution not only expands the application of AMR in various fields but also offers competitive costs compared to existing commercial systems, while ensuring high performance and stability.

The AMR product with the UR3e robotic arm and the autonomous robot ecosystem has attracted interest from customers in manufacturing, logistics, and several other specialized industries. According to Trịnh Văn Trọng – FSUL GPE, the factor that impresses customers is the customization capability and comprehensive management system.

In addition to the software ecosystem, GPE.IMS also brought to FPT Techday 2024 a hardware demo model of an autonomous robot designed and manufactured by the unit itself. This was also a highlight at GPE’s technology demo area at the group’s largest technology event recently.
