Continue the dream of flying across five continents…
Experiencing the “sickness” of the tourism management industry throughout 2020 and 2021, Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy did not want to sit still and wait for her time. Instead, she created opportunities for herself by finding a job in a different industry. In August 2021, Thuy Chinh Thuoc entered FSOFT with the readiness to be a BA and the eagerness of a girl moving from tourism to IT.
When she was still at the university, Thuy envisioned a scenario where she would talk to foreigners often about the country and people of Vietnam by being in Tourism Management – which is also the field of study that she pursued. The girl’s dream was short-lived when the industry was wfrozen because of the epidemic. Thuy decided to change her direction. Through research, Thuy found that the BA job at FSOFT was quite close to her previous tasks, especially she would continue to fulfill her dream of working with foreigners across five continents and visiting different places.
After completing the BA Foundation course at FSOFT Academy, Thuy was invited by 3 units to work for them. She chose FHN.FHS (now split into 3 different BUs) to continue working on her dream.
The girl who once worked in Tourism Management has become a BA at FHN.At FSOFT, Thuy was quite surprised with her new experiences. As a forward-looking and enterprising person, Thuy is satisfied when the company equips her with knowledge and facilitates her access to international certifications. As someone who had started from zero in the IT industry, Thuy not only participated in BA courses but also taught herself more about Healthcare and Basic IT on Udemy. She also diligently asked friends and colleagues to deepen her knowledge.
“These courses have gradually helped me fill the gap in knowledge in the IT industry, from which I am more confident when communicating with clients,” Thuy said.
In the coming time, Thuy plans to continue studying to improve her expertise and become a key element of the project. If given the opportunity, Thuy is ready to go onsite in new lands to experience the diverse and rich life of FSOFT people around the world.
