Contract Generator: AI Agent for Sales Developed by LCM
In line with the company’s “AI First” strategy, the Contract Generator — an AI Agent developed by FSOFT’s Legal & Contract Management Department (LCM) — will officially launch on July 7. The solution is expected to save up to 494 working hours per month in the customer contract process, marking a clear step forward as BA teams actively join the AI race.

According to internal metrics, creating a customer contract currently takes an average of four hours per case, including time spent by the Sales team searching for the right template, entering details, and waiting for Legal’s support. This process can delay deal closures, with Account Managers/Sales Partners having to wait while the Legal team handles repetitive requests. Recognising this bottleneck, LCM proactively researched and developed the Contract Generator AI Agent — an automation tool built entirely in-house by this non-technical team.
Deployed via Microsoft Copilot Studio and integrated directly into Microsoft Teams, the AI Agent supports Sales with contract creation in three main steps:
- Suggests suitable contract templates: Selects customer contract templates from an approved library, tailored to the Sales team’s specific needs.
- Auto-fills information: Processes basic data fields and helps draft certain clauses based on input provided by Sales.
- Generates a complete draft: Instantly delivers the draft contract file to the Sales team’s email, ready for use.
LCM estimates that if processing time can be reduced from four hours to less than one per contract, with a workload of around 190 requests each month, the system could save up to 494 working hours. This means the Legal team can focus on higher-value tasks like strategic consulting and legal risk management, while Sales teams gain agility in preparing customer documents without lengthy email back-and-forth. It also sets a precedent for applying AI within BA units, paving the way to expand similar solutions to other departments where FSOFTers frequently input, declare, or draft template-based documents — processes that can be automated and standardised at scale.

The Contract Generator AI Agent will officially go live on July 7, 2025. LCM welcomes feedback from all FSOFTers to keep improving the tool, with the goal of fully supporting the Sales team’s legal processes across FSOFT.
