Create your own opportunities, move forward with AI

From the early days when artificial intelligence began to emerge at FSOFT, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thùy Dương (FHN.BA) proactively researched and integrated AI into her work. In her role as Product Owner, she recognized that AI plays a crucial role in guiding product development, contributing to improved project efficiency and product quality.

Before joining FSOFT in 2023, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Thùy Dương had five years of experience as a Business Analyst, specializing in product deployment and solution management, while directly working with clients in various markets. Her sharp product mindset and deep understanding of customer needs have become a solid foundation, helping her transition into the role of Product Owner at the software company.

In mid-2024, when the term “AI” became ubiquitous across media, spreading from daily conversations to work meetings, Ms. Dương took the initiative to explore and delve into the benefits that AI could bring to the Product Owner role. Guided by the motto “create your own opportunities for growth,” she quickly applied AI to her daily work. In her PO position, she found AI particularly helpful in analyzing backlogs, deeply understanding requirements, and swiftly proposing feasible solutions, thereby enabling smarter and more optimal product direction.

Thanks to her principle of “creating opportunities for herself,” Ms. Dương decided to challenge herself in a professional arena for versatile PMs – the PM Contest 2025. For her, this is not just a battlefield of intellect, but also an opportunity to explore, challenge herself, learn from teammates, and step out of her comfort zone. “Above all, the PM Contest is a chance for me to share the perspective of a Product Owner on project management in the context of AI transforming our way of working,” Ms. Dương shared.

Not only in her professional life, Ms. Dương also applies the “AI First” spirit to her everyday life to enhance its quality. For her, AI is a smart “right hand,” supporting daily tasks such as scheduling, suggesting meal menus, updating knowledge and study materials. “Thanks to AI, I can balance my time between work, family, and myself, and even have more time to pursue my passions,” Ms. Dương said.

Sharing her future plans, Ms. Dương stated that she will continue to pursue advanced professional certifications, viewing them as a solid foundation for career development. Additionally, AI remains a “fertile ground” that she will keep exploring and exploiting. “Don’t wait until you’re good to use AI, use AI to become better,” Ms. Dương advised.
