FHM is committed to “eliminating Japanese language illiteracy”: Aiming for at least 1,000 members to reach N5 or higher by 2025

With the spirit of “dare to learn – dare to fight,” the 13K5 Tour program, organized by LTI Language Academy in collaboration with FHM units, has officially launched. This initiative shows a strong determination to improve Japanese language proficiency among FHM members. From May 20 to 21, the tour visited three key units in the OneJP market: FHM.JPG, FHM.ATG, and FHM.CMS. It offered a tailored training program with unique Phu Tang characteristics and kicked off the “Japanese literacy eradication” campaign at FHM.

At the beginning of the program, an exciting learning atmosphere quickly emerged with the introduction of the 13K5 course, a Japanese language learning solution specifically designed for technology engineers. Ms. Pham Thanh Hoa, Deputy Director of LTI, shared at the event: “13K5 is not just a course; it’s a long-term journey closely aligned with the realities and specific working pace of the IT industry. We focus on flexibility, practical applicability, and supporting sustainable career development in the Japanese market.”

In addition to the training content, the event featured a variety of engaging activities, such as minigames, discussions on skill development roadmaps, and information about onsite opportunities in Japan. Notably, several senior leaders from the units participated, demonstrating strong support for the staff. Among them were: Mr. Tran Nhat Thang (BUL FHM.JFL), Mr. Vo Sy Giang Dong (BUL FHM.CMS), Mr. Nguyen Tuan Lam (Vice BUL FHM.ATG), and Mr. Nguyen Quang Dao (Vice BUL FHM.JPG).

Ms. Ha Thi Bac Loan, Head of FHM.GA, affirmed: “FHM aims for 100% of employees participating in the Japanese market to have a background in the Japanese language. We do not wait; we take proactive action – determined to have at least 1,000 FHM members reach N5 level or higher by 2025.”

This commitment is more than just words. Internal classes are being widely implemented, and many senior leaders – including Ms. Vo Thi Bich Hanh (FSUL FHM) and OneJP market leaders – are actively participating in Japanese classes, setting an example for the team.

From a market development perspective, Mr. Tran Nhat Thang added: “Professional capacity alone is not sufficient. To establish lasting relationships with Japanese customers, understanding the language, culture, and working style is essential. By learning Japanese, your opportunities will expand significantly.”

Although the 13K5 Tour has concluded, the enthusiasm for learning and mastering Japanese at FHM is stronger than ever. With support from LTI, FJP, and a clear development strategy from the Board of Directors, the 13K5 program is set to become a solid foundation for FHM members to enhance their skills, broaden their career prospects, and create a distinct mark in the promising Japanese market.
