FHN cultivates a “million-dollar PM” team with the GIGA PM Club

Named “FHN GIGA PM CLUB”, the unit expects the PM team to be trained, equipped with useful knowledge, and ready to participate in million-dollar projects, thereby helping the company “reach the top” of world-class.

PM Club is a playground for the Project Management team, established and operated by FHN for the past 2 years with the predecessor names: FHN Talent PM Club (2022) and FHN Next Gen Leader Club (2023). Through efforts to cultivate generations of talented PMs, FHN will continue to replicate this model.

In 2024, “FHN GIGA PM CLUB” officially kicked off on the afternoon of May 21 with the presence of 30 promising PM faces. At the event, FHN Director Le Thanh Nhan affirmed that the organization always wants FSOFTers to be ready in spirit, skills, knowledge, capacity, etc. to be able to face all challenges in any situation. “Do not wait for an opportunity or a battle to go to school,” Mr. Nhan emphasized.

He also directly tasked BOMers members to constantly pay attention to training the next generation of PMs through specific activities.

GIGA PM CLUB closely follows FHN’s 3 key programs, including Big Battle Readiness – Delivery Excellence – Productivity Up.

The club’s activity program is designed in an attractive format to encourage members to both study and improve project management knowledge while actively contributing to the common programs of the PMO at FSOFT and FHN levels. Coming to the club, members will be able to participate in sharing sessions by KOLs inside and outside FPT with useful topics for PMs. Everyone has the opportunity to not only learn project management experience but also many other skills.

After each session, trainees are assigned individual or group exercises to learn more deeply about the topics. The organizers also gathered the contents, requirements, and suggestions to read after each activity into a handbook, “Things to read, learn, or experience.”. The members all seemed to enjoy this exercise, which was not dry but very interesting. Not only that, the members are also very excited because they have the opportunity to expand their network of relationships in the PM community and learn knowledge and experience among brothers and sisters in the club.
